Where, and how you start is obviously dependent on what product you are going to produce, for what market and possibly for what country or continent. But one thing is for sure.. You want an (exclusive) top/AAA product. And you want that consistently!

Having good genetics is a good start, but do you have them for the right reasons? It might be more important than you think. The stability of what you are producing is incredibly important. Not only if you can consistently get those genetics. But are they stable? And will they produce as expected in your environment?
Without proper genetic/background knowledge. You or your customer could end up being severely disappointed in the end product. Resulting in loss of revenue and possible break of contract with suppliers, distributors or investors. Let alone the possible legal repercussions this could have.

When to choose Regular genetics
It is well known that regular seeds are the best option to consider. Especially if your ultimate goal is to create a reliable, robust mother plant that will allow you to enjoy quality harvests for the many years to come.
Non-feminized seeds come from the fertilisation of a female cannabis plant by a male cannabis plant. And the resulting seeds in turn, produce female and male cannabis plants. There is no way to foresee whether a seed will produce a female or male plant. Explaining both why removing male plants from a grow space is deemed so important, and why feminized seeds are so precious to many cultivators. There is still one way to find out what non-feminized cannabis seeds are up to; by growing them!
When to choose Feminized genetics
Many find the process of growing cannabis difficult or time-consuming. Especially when the space in which they are cultivating is not 100% adapted to what they wish to achieve. They might find solace in growing feminized cannabis seeds. Since the task of identifying and removing male plants from the grow space is in this case unnecessary.
When female cannabis plants are pollinated by accident, this can have quite a negative impact on your harvest which explains why, especially in the context of medicinal use, feminized versions of cannabis strains are greatly appreciated. Beginners will also prefer this option in order to obtain a relatively easy but glorious first harvest. And once more familiar with the art of cannabis growing, stick to feminized seeds regardless.
What are the advantages of autoflowering seeds?
Because of their “predefined” flowering time, automatic cannabis strains can be a great solution for growers who can not benefit from the best climatic conditions. In case of short summers or when using outdoor grow spaces. Those fast-flowering, resilient seeds can make growing cannabis possible where thought impossible.
And for those who do not have any restriction in terms of climate or space, automatic strains can be a great way to maximise production, because of their short flowering time. Within the course of a regular, three months long summer, two harvests or more can be achieved provided the conditions are at least correct; in short, these seeds are quite a nice compromise when one does not have time to provide sustained care to a few plants for several months, and/or wants to ensure the results will measure up to their expectations.
